Formentera Prepares to Experience the World Cup Final in Constitution Square

Formentera will vibrate this coming Sunday with an event that promises to unite residents and visitors around one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year. The Formentera Island Council has organized the live broadcast of the World Cup final, which will be shown in the iconic Constitution Square of Sant Francesc on Sunday, July 19.

A Giant Screen in the Heart of Sant Francesc

The facade of the Church of Sant Francesc will transform, for one night, into a large open-air screen. The proposal will turn this iconic space of the island into a meeting point where everyone can enjoy the match together, in a typical Formentera summer night atmosphere.

Schedule and Access

The screening will begin 20 minutes before the start of the match, at 8:40 PM. Access will be completely free, although it will be subject to the available capacity in the square. Those who want to secure a good spot should arrive early, as a significant influx of both local and tourist crowds is expected.
For those who prefer to follow the match from another location, the Consell reminds that it can also be watched through the open broadcast by RTVE.
