Every September, European Mobility Week in Formentera invites residents and visitors to embrace a more sustainable way of moving around the island. From September 16 to 22, the Consell de Formentera has prepared a full program of free activities designed to promote eco-friendly transport and raise awareness about the benefits of walking, cycling, and using public transport.
What to Expect During European Mobility Week in Formentera
Throughout the week, there will be a variety of activities open to all, including:

Bike Exhibitions – On September 16 and 18, head to Plaça de la Constitució in Sant Francesc (10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) to discover conventional and electric bicycles.

Bike Mechanics Workshop – On September 17 (5:00 – 8:00 p.m.), learn the basics of bike repair and maintenance in the same square.

Ride to Es Cap de Barbaria Lighthouse – From September 19 to 21, cycle the scenic two kilometers from Sa Tanca d’Allà Dins to the iconic lighthouse between 5:30 and 8:00 p.m.
Night Walks in Formentera
One of the highlights of European Mobility Week in Formentera are the night walks:

On Friday, September 19, join a popular walk in Es Caló de Sant Agustà from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m., starting at the pier.

On Monday, September 22, coinciding with World Car-Free Day, another walk will take place to Torrent de s’Alga, also from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m., starting at the Sa Tanca Vella car park.
