The Formentera 4x10K is a team road race that will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026. It will start and end in La Savina, Formentera, Spain. The format is simple but different: four runners from each team run a 10-kilometer loop, and the final team time is the sum of the times of all four runners.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Team Structure and Types

It’s not a race by yourself; it’s all about working together and winning! You have to enter as a group of four people, and there are five fun categories to choose from:

• Men’s Team: Four male runners
• Women’s Team: 4 female runners
• Mixed Team: at least one runner of a different gender
• Family Team: runners who are related to each other or are in a couple
• Company Team: people who work for the same business

Teams are also ranked by the total age brackets, which are the sums of all four runners’ ages. This makes it a fun challenge for people of all athletic levels.

🏁 Course Information

The race route is a 10-kilometer loop that is completely closed to traffic. It goes through both urban and semi-rural areas around Formentera:

• La Savina is where you start and end.
• On the way to Sant Francesc Xavier
• A mix of scenic paths, country lanes, and coastal roads (about 75% asphalt and 25% consolidated paths)
• There are beautiful views near Estany des Peix and along the island’s old roads.
• The race starts at 18:00 (6:00 PM), and teams have until 19:45 (7:45 PM) to finish.
